This afternoon, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Tony, who works for Rolls Royce and has spent 29 years in the RAF. We spent the afternoon learning all about engineering and how planes are able to fly, all linked to our Science Composite of Materials. We managed to see first hand some components of an engine and a plane, we then managed to create our own plane designs, focusing on the intricate details of the engineering.
