Academy meals

Our efficient Southery Academy kitchen provides freshly cooked meals each day for our pupils and staff. The menus are devised by Aspens catering team, who work closely with nutritionists to ensure every meal is healthy, balanced and meets the government's current requirements for nutritional standards. Academy meals cost the standard county charge of £2.50 a day. An up-to-date Lunch Menu can be found below. The menu rotates on a 3-week cycle and has a variety of main meals, vegetarian options, jacket potatoes, pasta and filled rolls available. 

As from September 2023, all meals will need to be pre-ordered on the Select website. Payments will also need to made directly on that site by purchasing meal 'credits'. Orders need to be placed before 8am each day to ensure that our Chef can cater to everyone's needs.

Pupils may bring in a packed lunch and should bring it in a named lunchbox. Cans and glass bottles are not permitted. Pupils with a packed lunch will bring home their empty packets etc. so that parents can monitor what is being eaten each day.
