Our fundraising team works alongside the school to organise events and fund resources that complement the curriculum and other extracurricular activities - e.g. by funding coaches for sporting fixtures or theatre performances. 

Feathers Fundraising Team is our newly formed parent-teacher association (PTA). The Feathers Fundraising Team will be working hard raising money to help the school provide an exciting range of whole-school opportunities, and also helping to organise enriching events throughout the year to enhance the children's learning experience at Southery Academy.

All parents and teachers are welcome to attend our regular meetings which are held in the main school hall and can also be joined via an online Teams link - this is a great way to find out all about upcoming events and how you could get involved.  Look out for the upcoming dates, which will be advertised well in advance. If you would like a specific idea or matter to be discussed at a meeting, please contact us using the email address below so that we can add it to the next meeting agenda.

Each year at our AGM we hold a nomination and voting process to elected committee of 12 people, including three Officers (Chair, Secretary and Treasurer). Our elected committee act as custodians of the funds raised and the representative voice of all group members.

We have a whole calendar of events planned for this year including discos, film nights, bingo, pop-up shops, summer fair, family BBQs, cooking sessions, a recipe book, and much much more! We welcome new ideas so please do contact us if you have an idea for a fundraising event.
